New Steps Dance & Fitness Center has specialized in dance and fitness classes for ages 2-adult since 1984 and is located in Glastonbury, CT.
Our year-long dance classes meet once per week for 45 or 60 minutes (see schedule page for details), with our Twinkle Tots, Adult Dance classes & Sunshine Stars meeting every week for 10 weeks. Students are encouraged to perform in the year-end recital to share their accomplishments with family and friends; however, it is not mandatory. For students participating in the recital, dress rehearsal is mandatory. Twinkle Tots, Adult dance & Sunshine Star students do not participate in the Recital.
Student class placement isn’t solely based on age but experience and ability as well. Please contact us with any questions on class placement.
If the schedule does not allow your child to have back-to-back classes, students are welcome to wait in our waiting room between classes to eat dinner, do homework and wait, as long as they respect the studio and classes that are in session and have approval from Miss Janelle.
There cannot be eating, drinking or gum chewing during class. Only water is allowed in dance studios. No outside shoes on dance floors. Please make sure to have clean dry shoes where sneakers are worn.
